Non-hazardous chemical tank logistics in the CIS: SDS before the tanker

“Non-hazardous” is not “simple”. The product file chooses the tank before the map does.

“Non-hazardous chemicals” does not mean any tanker will do. Plasticiser, glycerine, latex and resin differ in metal, gaskets and allowed history. SDS or specs decide more than a nickname in the email.

Why “non-hazardous” is still a clearance

Non-hazardous chemicals skip ADR class stickers. They do not skip compatibility. A wrong gasket or a forbidden previous cargo is still a refused loading.

If the SDS later shows a class, the job moves to ADR. We do not keep a chemical-line tank on an ADR product to protect the first quote.

Food-grade and chemical contours stay separate. A food wash does not turn a tanker into a chemical tanker, and the reverse is not a shortcut. If you are unsure which line it is, send the product as it is — we assign the line from the file.

Tank material and fittings

Stainless, lining, seals — from the product file. The fleet is stainless 32 m³ with jacket and air. That is a kit, not a universal solvent truck.

Name discharge: pump, gravity, air. Air is on every trailer; the plant must allow it. Compartment split matters when the lot is smaller than a full shell.

Wash and history for chemicals

A food-grade wash does not automatically clear a chemical load. Substance group and previous cargo still decide — wash guide.

Send SDS plus any plant cleanliness rule. “Washed yesterday” without type is not a programme.

If the receiver has an allowed-previous-cargo list, attach it on day one. Matching history before the truck is assigned is cheaper than swapping a tanker at the gate.

Belarus and Russia: short hauls still need a match

Belarus and Russia look close on the map. Intake lists are still local. A free truck at the gate is not a matched truck.

Windows and empty run of the right chemical tank sit in the rate even on a short BY–RU leg.

We will match a tanker to your product

Send a phone number and the job in your own words. Product, volume and corridor speed clearance — with no price promised without parameters.

How we take a trip

Kazakhstan and China: time in the shell

Kazakhstan adds hours on the product. Viscosity and heat become part of clearance. China is often a stitched chain — forwarding under our check, not a blind handover.

Write the country function: origin, destination, or a middle leg. “Asia” is not a corridor.

Turkey and Georgia: the rack beats average km

Turkey and Georgia are discharge sites and, sometimes, a stitch toward other corridors. Fittings and hours at the rack move the job more than a round kilometre figure.

If Europe is the next hop, name the EU country separately. Do not hide it inside “south”.

What a working chemical request looks like

Product, SDS if you have it, tonnes, countries, phone, wash rule if it exists. Exact streets later. Same spine as the request guide.

If SDS is coming tomorrow, say so. We can start the corridor outline; we will not fake compatibility.

A rate without SDS and history is a corridor sketch. A confirmable rate appears after the tank matches the product — not from a kilometre table.

Example: glycerine, Belarus toward Kazakhstan

Glycerine, non-hazardous on the SDS you attach, ~20 t, Belarus origin, Kazakhstan destination, winter week. We check gaskets, history, jacket for viscosity, and time in the shell.

Without SDS we do not promise a chemical-line tank. With an ADR class on the same nickname, the line changes.

When the file exists, send it. The map is second; the product is first.

Ask about the corridor

KDM Cargo

online

Is non-hazardous the same as food-grade?

No. Different wash, history and often different gaskets. We do not mix contours without a documented clearance.

Can you quote without SDS?

Corridor outline, yes. Tank match, after the file. See documents.

Do you take any non-hazardous liquid?

We work a wide chemical range. Each product is still cleared. A site catalogue is not a closed list of the only cargoes we accept.

Is CIS one tariff zone?

No. Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan are different legs, windows and empty-run patterns.

When do you use forwarding?

When own fleet or a single truck cannot cover the chain. Attracted tanks are still checked.

How do I start?

Product + SDS if you have it + countries + phone. Contacts.

We will match a tanker to the product

A phone number and the job in your own words are enough to start.

Match the load to a tanker

Send the product, volume and route. We check compatibility first, then come back with a quote.
