Tankers are more often turned away at loading than on the road. The request lacked product, volume or wash requirements. Below is the minimum to start today, and what can be clarified before the trip is confirmed.
Minimum for first contact
A phone number and the job in your own words are enough: what we haul, from/to at least at country level, a volume hint. Exact discharge address and windows can wait until clearance. We need the batch, not a perfect form.
A rate without these data is a guess, not a quote. First we check whether the tank matches the product. For most first requests a Belarus or Belarus–Russia corridor is enough. You do not need to list “all seven countries” in the form.
Small lot or a two-leg route? Describe it as it is. Do not split the request into several “correct” wordings — we will sort it on the call.
What speeds clearance
Name the service if it is already clear: food-grade transport, non-hazardous chemicals or ADR. If you are unsure, describe the product as it is. The line is decided from documents, not from a label in old mail.
Receiver requirements on wash and allowed previous cargoes speed the check more than any price list. Those two parameters are why a tanker “almost fits” but fails the last check before loading.
Wash is read by cleaning type and wash certificate, previous loads by compatibility. Temperature, viscosity and steam heat immediately rule out incompatible equipment — especially on oils. Confirmation order is in trip clearance.
How to phrase incomplete data
Not every parameter is known in advance — that is normal. If you do not know the exact ADR class, give the product name and attach what you have: SDS, consignment note, supplier description. Classification is checked from papers, not from a verbal label.
If the receiver has not stated wash requirements, write that: “I will confirm with the receiver.” Guessing conditions that later have to be rewritten is worse.
Volume can be an order of magnitude: “about twenty tonnes” or “one 32 m³ tank” is enough to start. We ask for the exact figure before confirmation, not before the first call.
We will match a tanker to your product
Send a phone number and the job in your own words. Product, volume and corridor speed clearance — with no price promised without parameters.
Typical first-message mistakes
“Need a tanker, send a rate” without the product: there is nothing to match. Food oil, a technical liquid and an ADR class sit in different tanks and different wash programmes. One sentence with the product name already cuts the wrong line.
A corridor written as “Europe” without a country. Europe is a set of plants and papers, not one destination. Country or region is enough; the street can wait.
Two products in one request with no note that they are separate lots. Mixing a food-grade oil and a chemical in one “tank job” looks like one trip and usually is two clearances. Write that they are different batches.
What happens after you send
The first pass is not a price. We check whether a LAG or Magyar 32 m³ stainless tank can take this product: volume, fittings, steam jacket if viscosity needs it, wash type and load history.
If the tank matches, we look at the corridor and empty positioning. If it does not — we say what is missing: another wash, another previous cargo, another volume, or that this batch is not our line. That answer is more useful than a number withdrawn at the gate.
Papers that can wait until confirmation — and papers that cannot — are in documents for a tank quote. How the rate is built once the tank is clear is in the tank transport rate.
What will not be in the first reply
We do not promise a five-minute answer or a price list without parameters. ADR classes and certificates are confirmed from the documents of that haul, not as a capability list on the site.
If the tank does not match on wash, volume or fittings — we say so before loading, not at the gate. When the minimum is ready, send a request.
Before you send the request
- Phone for a replyWhere to call about the tanker
- Product or the job in your own wordsEven without HS code — the batch matters
- Volume hintTonnes or m³ — order of magnitude is enough
- Corridor or regionsCountry / corridor; exact points come later
- Wash and previous cargoAttach if the receiver already stated them
- Temperature regime if it is criticalViscous and solidifying products — mark this
Телефон и задача своими словами — достаточно, чтобы начать сверку цистерны.
Ask about a tank quote request
Can we start without an exact discharge address?
Yes. A corridor or region is enough — Belarus or Belarus–Russia. Exact points and windows are fixed before confirmation, once the tanker matches the product.
Are documents needed at once?
Not on first contact. Food-grade loads soon need wash requirements; ADR needs the class pack for that haul. The baseline and what can wait — in documents for a quote.
What if food-grade vs ADR is still unclear?
Describe the product and receiver requirements. We assign the line — food-grade, non-hazardous chemicals or ADR — from documents, without a generic site label.
